A sunny Georgia mountain view wedding at Meadow at Mossy Creek. The relaxed, fun vibes of these two were what actual dreams are made of. Every detail of the day executed the vision Stacey & Jordan had. Subtle greenery, black bridesmaids dresses, live band reception... it all was perfectly simple and elegant. This wedding has forever gone down in history as the easiest, most effortless wedding day ever. Stacey & Jordan were such a treat to work with and I know you will enjoy reliving their special day in images!
Words from Stacey…
What did you love most about your wedding venue?
I loved the inside and outside atmosphere that the venue provided. Outside was just as pretty as the inside of the wedding venue. I LOVED the backdrop of the mountains in the background with a field in front of it. The venue was very updated and offered good options for outside fun (corn hole boards and outside seating) as well as updated chairs, tables, and decor inside.
What memory from your wedding do you remember the most?
The memory that I remember the most from our wedding day was mine and Jordan's first look. It was the perfect time to not worry about anyone else but ourselves for a couple of minutes and just spend time with each other in an intimate moment and setting. My other favorite memory was the fact that my brother got to officiate our wedding. It was so special having someone that knew me and Jordan on a personal level and someone so close to me share memories and marry us.
What part of the day had the most effect on you and your relationship?
During the ceremony, we had a time for Jordan and I to pray over our marriage and have the people that love us most pray over it as well. It was a truly precious moment. It was a representation of us putting God first in our marriage.
Funniest moment on wedding day?
The most fun and funniest moment of the wedding was when me and Jordan's brother, Colby got to sing Mr. Brightside during the reception. Never in a million years did I think I would turn our reception into karaoke, but it did.
What advice would you give to future couples who are getting married?
GET A LIVE BAND! I cannot tell you how much fun a live band is! They interact with people, play what you want to play and who doesn't love a live band. If you can find it in your budget - do yourself a favor! Also, do a first look. It really was such a special time to have with just me and Jordan before all of the festivities began. The day goes so fast and before you know it, you have barely spent anytime with your new spouse.
