Have you ever considered having your honeymoon photographed?
Now before you throw a big red stop sign up in your brain, I don’t mean THAT part of the honeymoon, I mean, the trip, the newly wed bliss, the carefree enjoyment of having nothing to do except BE together.
When Cameron’s mom reached out to me the week of their wedding about possibly having me photograph their rehearsal dinner, I unfortunately already had plans for my 9-year anniversary. My husband took me to a show the night of their rehearsal, the next day I photographed their wedding and the following week, we were heading to California for a West Coast road trip.
She immediately got excited and told me Cameron and Ashley (my wedding couple) were honeymooning in Santa Barbara. I told her I would be beyond down to photograph them if she was still interested in gifting them something!
Next thing I know we’re scoping out cute beaches on the coast, sharing outfit inspo and planning the perfect honeymoon session. I wish more couples did this. It truly captured exactly how they were feeling.
